Cerema - TEAM

Cerema (Centre d'Etudes et d'Expertise sur les Risques, l'Environnement, la Mobilité et l'Aménagement) is a public body providing expertise, research and support for public policy in the fields of planning, the environment and mobility. It supports local authorities and players in these sectors by offering technical solutions, methodological tools and practical advice. Cerema also implements research projects and develops expertise with the aim of improving public policies and promoting the ecological and energy transition. We work closely with all the players involved, at both national and local level.

TEAM (Transferts et interactions liés à l'eau en milieu construit) is a Cerema research team based at the Trappes (Yvelines) and Nancy (Meurthe-et-Moselle) sites. It employs 32 people, including 8 permanent researchers, 4 of whom are based in Trappes.

The research team's work aims to better understand the effects of built environments (cities and transport infrastructures): alteration of water discharges, increase in pollutant discharges, rise in local temperature. Understanding and thinking about built environments enables us to take account of the challenges of ecological transition, and helps us to define strategies for managing, planning and adapting these environments.

A more complete presentation (in French) of the team is available on the website.
